Eero is perched on the rooftop of the former American Embassy in Oslo and takes its name from the building’s architect, Eero Saarinen. Here you can float above the city and enjoy our cocktail bar with critically acclaimed food.

From the bar and lounge you can take in sweeping views of the Royal Palace Park and the Oslo Fjord while we serve classic and creative cocktails alongside a wide selection of wines from our extensive cellar. In summer we open one of the city’s most spectacular rooftopterraces.

Our kitchen offers a range of small and large dishes from our wood-fired oven—playful, full of exciting flavors, and informal—whether you just want something to accompany your cocktails or prefer the full tasting-menu experience featuring a variety of dishes. Recommended by the Michelin Guide.

Early (17:00–20:00): Food-focused, relaxed pace, bright and calm atmosphere.

The Restaurant

Eero is a rising star on Oslo’s dining scene. In the intimate 28-seat restaurant, head chef Charles Taylor serves a seasonal tasting menu.

Pescatarian and vegetarian options are available upon request. Wine pairings feature selected aged wines from the Embassy’s cellar.

The terrace can also be divided into smaller sections, providing your group with exclusive access to a private area complete with its own bar.

During winter, we offer an indoor capacity of up to 100 guests.
